Dr. Scott Anderson
Dr. Anderson grew up in Champaign and has over three decades of experience in helping his patients improve their dental health. Having grown up in a dental family (his father and great grandfather were dentists as is his son, John!), Dr. Anderson appreciates the value of long term relationships with his patients. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with many multi-generational patients. What’s really fun is when I see someone who first saw my dad decades ago and now I see their children and grandchildren also. With John joining the practice we also now have some patients who have seen three generations of Anderson dentists!”
Dr. Anderson and his wife, Lynn, have three children and two grandchildren. A dedicated community volunteer, Dr. Anderson served twelve years on the Champaign Unit 4 Board of Education and has also served on the board of Smile Healthy, Champaign County United Way, Promise Healthcare, Young Life, and Little Illini Soccer Club. He has gone on three mission trips to Malawi, Africa. He currently serves as the volunteer dental director for the Frances Nelson Dental Center. Outside the office, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his grandchildren (and children!), travel, golf, and exercise.
Dr. Anderson graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1981 and the University of Illinois Dental School in 1985. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Illini District
